Founded in 1998, CJS
Securities, Inc. seeks to identify quality
small cap* companies that may be inefficiently priced in the market due to
lack of research coverage, or a shift in market capitalization.
CJS Securities actively
follows 66 stocks as well as 2 on our “monitor list” that
span a number of sectors/industries.
We are generalists, not "industry analysts," and therefore tend
to seek companies that do not typically slot into traditionally
"ranked" categories. Our product consists of basic reports
on each of the companies we follow with detailed financial models, frequent
written updates as well as a coverage universe “updates”
distributed four times per year.
We also provide clients access
to company managements via road shows and our analysts for additional
information, as needed. In addition, we host two small cap
conferences each year; our winter conference in NYC, "New Ideas for the New Year" , is usually held the first full week in January and a
summer conference, held in mid August is at a more informal setting in Westchester County, NY.
The
firm is a member of FINRA and the SIPC. Trades are cleared through Bear
Stearns Securities Corp. (DTC 0352) and Piper Jaffray & Co. (DTC
0311)
